Enrollment FAQs

Frequently AskedEnrollment Questions

How do I apply to Lighthouse Private Christian Academy?

Review the enrollment steps and document checklist, then complete the secure online application. LPCA will review the application and contact you about records, campus availability, any requested meeting, and the next steps.

Is my child enrolled as soon as I submit the application?

No. The application starts the admissions process. Enrollment is complete after LPCA finishes its review, receives the required records, completes any requested family interview or placement review, and confirms admission.

Which Lighthouse campus should I select?

Choose the campus serving your student's grade and preferred location. LPCA operates K–12 campuses in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze, a K–5 elementary campus on Dogwood Drive in Milton, and a grades 6–12 campus on Dixie Road in Milton.

What documents are needed for enrollment?

Families should prepare a birth certificate, applicable health and immunization records, recent academic records, and relevant IEP, 504, evaluation, custody, or accommodation documents. LPCA will confirm which items apply to the student.

Does Lighthouse accept Florida school-choice scholarships?

LPCA works with eligible families using applicable Florida scholarship programs. Families apply or renew through an approved scholarship funding organization, which determines eligibility and administers awards. LPCA then confirms admission, covered charges, and any remaining family balance.

Will a scholarship cover every tuition and fee charge?

Not necessarily. A scholarship may help pay eligible tuition and fees, but the award amount, funding, approved expenses, and any family responsibility vary by scholarship program and student.

Does an IEP automatically mean my child can attend without cost?

No. A student with a qualifying disability may be eligible for the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities, or FES-UA, but an IEP alone does not guarantee scholarship eligibility, admission to LPCA, or full coverage of every charge.

Can private-pay families pay tuition online?

Yes. Private-pay families can use LPCA's secure tuition and fee portal. Include the parent or guardian name, student name, invoice number or payment purpose, and the amount being paid.

Does Lighthouse offer dual enrollment?

Qualified high-school students may be able to earn college credit while completing high school. Participation is subject to academic standing, administrative counseling, partner requirements, deadlines, and course availability.

Who can help me choose a campus?

Call the campus you are considering. Gulf Breeze families can call (850) 733-1017, Pensacola families can call (850) 542-7828, and Milton families can call (850) 417-6380.
