What Is Dual Enrollment?
Dual enrollment allows an eligible high-school student to take approved college-level coursework while still completing high-school requirements. An approved course may count toward both the student's high-school program and a postsecondary credential, depending on the course, institution, articulation agreement, and applicable requirements.
Dual enrollment is more than taking an advanced class. The student is beginning college-level work and must follow the academic, attendance, registration, conduct, and deadline requirements established by Lighthouse and the participating institution.
